There's a sensible approach to health care in New York's Capital Region and western New England. It's the Center for Integrative Health and Healing in Delmar; a short 10 minutes south of Albany, NY.

We're the area's first health practice to bring together medical doctors practicing conventional medicine with licensed professionals who provide complementary therapies, like acupuncture, naturopathy, therapeutic massage, chinese herbal medicine, nutrition, supplement therapies and energy healing.

Integrative medicine is a rapidly growing and highly credible field that seeks to integrate the best of Western scientfic medicine with a broader understanding of the nature of illness, healing and wellness. The Center offers the best combination of therapies across all disciplines. Dr. Stram, the Center's founder, is fellowship trained in Integrative Medicine under the auspices of world renowned pioneer in Integrative Medicine, Dr. Andrew Weil. Grounded in the therapeutic relationship between practitioner and patient, this approach seeks to return the soul to mediicne by focusing on healing the whole person- body, mind, heart and spirit- and by empowering the people to be active participants in their own care.

The Center offers pharmaceutical alternatives for a broad range of health disorders including, heart disease, digestive disorders, chronic pain and fatigue, and all aspects of women health including infertility. In addition, cancer patients come to the Center for immune enhancement therapies, reduction of symptoms due to conventional cancer treatments and IV therapies.
The Center is dedicated to the education of our community about the many options for healthcare; monthly free health lectures are given at the Center on various health topics.
